I just want to thank Will & krista for all you did to make this party happen and be amazing.
And I want to thank all of you who made the effort to be with us! Each of you makes a difference in my life. To those of you sweet people who wanted to be there but weren't able- I hope these pictures bring you closer to the fun. we missed you.
THANK YOU ALL FOR MAKING MY 40th SIMPLY MAGICAL! I love you.

PARTY GIRLS

And then to top it off... my dearest friend Shelley- from high school...sent a box to me. You should have seen the eyes on my daughter when we opened that box! Not a minute passed when she had us all dressed to the nine's in 40th birthday garb: tiara, flashing rings, 40 confetti, horns, necklace and more! Here are some pics of Nevi and her Noni, My mom. So cute. Thank you dearest Shelley for sending these gifts- you are awesome beyond measure! I will eventually get a shot of me in the gear on here too...but these two rule the princess party!

Thanks

Thank you Mom and Dad for all you did to make my birthday special. Flying out here, staying a week, making an incredible book for me with letters and pictures from so much of my life, paying the caterer, giving me diamond stud earings which are from a pin that belonged to my great, great grandmother...giving me life! I love you so very much.

Night Night

I was not the only one completley full after this party! The children had been pkaying at the Black Butte Rec room and Nevi was exhausted. Only twice in her life of four and a half years have we been able to move her from the car to bed without waking up. This was number TWO! Thank the goddess we put her in those jammies before we left Will & Krista's...smart parents. And good thing my husnad is so strong! Sweet dreams little one.

PARTY!

Saturday nigth March 22nd at the Black Butte Ranch home of Will and Krista a magical eveing occured. Never in my life has my heart been filled so full. The setting was beautiful. we had drinks out on the deck with crystal clear light, sun, chill and a view of the moutians through pines. Then we had dinner in the living room where Will and Krista had cleared out all of their furniture and put in four round tables with candles and sweet spring pansie centerpieces (thanks to the Siegel family!!!!). we ate, drank, talked and then the toasts began. Wow. be still my heart. Thank you for the generous and loving words. My heart is beyond full. What a rockin fun party!

Hoo Doo Skiing

On Saturday- we had the most magnificent day of skiing. The sun was out, it was calm and warm...we had a whole crew out on the slopes together. Devin, me, Nevi, Dad Dad (my father), Will, Krista, Ellery, Liam, Hooty, Lauren, Charlie, Henry, Elizabeth, Dawn, Logan, Linda, Dave, Jake, Sophia and more- It was a day for my Dad as he got to ski with his grandchildren! We missed my Mom who is uaully always out there skiing, but she deserves a new knee before being back out on the slopes. But she drove up to check out the scene. GLORIOUS! (more pictures later from my mom's camera )
